The CargoSmart X-Track® System, the next generation of track tie-down and organizational systems
Track systems are highly versatile organizational systems suitable for a large variety of applications. On the job, track systems are commonly found on the walls and floors of enclosed box trailers, holding down equipment and organizing tools and work supplies. Track systems are also commonly found in workshops, warehouses, and anywhere else that a sturdy organizational system is desired. In the home, track systems are gaining popularity for use in garages, sheds, basements, and utility rooms to organize everything from landscaping tools to sports equipment.
What makes track systems so useful is the availability of numerous hooks, baskets, straps, specialty accessories and other attachments that allow you to truly customize the ideal cargo management and organizational system that best fulfills your needs and space requirements.
Track system accessories attach into track rails with a spring-loaded connector that snaps into slots located on the track rails to form a very solid and secure connection point. A lever on the connector snaps the attachment in place and recreates a connection strong enough to tie down an ATV or strap down a refrigerator or equipment.
Horizontal E-Track Rails – Features slots that run perpendicular with the longer lengths of the E-Track rail. Horizontal E-Track rails are the most common type of track rail and are commonly installed on both floors and walls. When installed on the floor of a trailer, e-track rails create a series of anchor points that are ideal for tying down ATV’s, motorcycle, snowmobile, lawn equipment, and other vehicles, as well as pallets of cargo and other heavy items being transported. Wall installation also creates versatile anchor points for tying down vehicles and cargo, but also allows for versatile organizational attachments along the walls of your trailer or garage.
Vertical E-Track Rails – Feature slots that run parallel with the longer edge of the E-Track rail. Vertical E-Track rails are commonly used to support shoring beams in box trucks and vans. Vertical E-Track rails can be installed on both floors and walls but are more commonly installed on walls.
A common pain point for track system users is the need to identify the configuration of your track rails before your buy and install them. CargoSmart’s patented X-Track® system eliminates this issue. Each X-Track rail has perpendicularly positioned track attachment slots that form an “X” pattern. These overlapping horizontal and vertical attachment slots do the job of both traditional horizontal and vertical E-Track rails. X-Track rails can be installed horizontally or vertically, on both walls and flooring, eliminating the need to select multiple rail orientations. Like E-Track rails, CargoSmart X-Track rails feature a sturdy steel construction that is ideal for creating multiple anchor points in enclosed trailers, box trucks, cargo vans, workshops, warehouses, garages, sheds, utility rooms, and any other location.
